Academic section is main component of the administrative infrastructure in Shaheed Mahendra Karma Vishwavidyalaya, Bastar through which the University prepares and runs the different courses in the University Teaching Departments and colleges affiliated to the University. For this purpose, through this section, various authorities like Executive Council, Academic Council, Standing Committee of academic council, Academic Planning and Evaluation Board, Faculties, Board of Studies, Departmental Research Committee (DRC), and Research Degree Committee(RDC) etc. are constituted and functions as per provisions of the University Act 1973 ordinances.
